Why we do what we do

Our passion is to provide space supporting the wellbeing and healing of all nature and world, men and women in the private in our inalienable right to implement Deep Listening, allowing you to embody your natural rhythms. Creating this space we draw from ancient wisdom, combining eastern and western teachings, to bring you a full spectrum range of products through Karuna Temple and workshops through Deep Listening for your whole temple.

Both of us have our own stories about finding our solid footing in this fast paced, often rather disconnected world. With our journeys in mind we created the Deep Listening Association. Any service, be that a product or a workshop, will only be provided on grounds of membership of the association.

What is Deep Listening?
Deep Listening can come to our daily lives when we create space and time for stillness. This stillness is based on respect, love and compassion. For our selves, for our bodies, for our minds, for our community, for our world, for the air, the rocks, the trees and plants, the waters, the earth, the animals. The more we practice being still, we can tap into our deep inner knowing, into our wellspring. When we tap into our own wellspring, we feel whole and connected, we feel peaceful.
Once connected and peaceful, it becomes natural to let things follow their natural course; like seasons; like the moon phases; like the sun’s travels. We start to move in alignment with nature’s currents.
This beautiful understanding and awareness is what has the potential to bring healing to all.

There are many different ways to cultivate and embody Deep Listening. HELP HERE

What does Karuna mean?

Karuna is a sanskrit word generally translated as ‘compassion’ in English and is a concept used in the spiritual paths of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The word comes from the Sanskrit kara, meaning “to do” or “to make,” indicating an action-based form of compassion, rather than the pity or sadness associated with the English word. Karuna is the doing of something to alleviate suffering.
