Each step we take towards sustainability is deeply rooted in an ethos of integrated values within ourselves, our life here on earth and Karuna Temple.
As we grow, so do our seeds of intention. Our values run deep and the way we do business is always consciously evolving.
We use completely plastic free and home compostable moisture absorbing satches. The printing company we chose is local, small and ecofriendly, using only recycled paper and vegetable inks. All product pouches are plastic free and home compostable. As we grow, we would like to start working directly with small sustainable farmers to source our ingredient herbs and fruits. All labels are soon to be completely plastic free and printed on recycled paper using vegetable inks. We are working on the most sustainable solution to our glass jars. All our ingredients are 100% free from fillers and binders. We only use 100% pure herbs, plants, fruits and vegetables, free from any additives, numbers or manipulation. We are a small batch locally run ethical association who cares about their impact and are always looking to consciously improve and evolve to serve the greater good of our community and mother earth.

Pouches
Our stand up pouches are made using renewable Plantcell™ technology. All components including zippers and valves are made from plants and are fully biodegradable and home compostable. They break down into healthy compost leaving no microplastics and conform to all major compost certifications including OK Compost Home and AS5810. Please make sure these pouches are disposed of correctly. Either in a functional home compost or industrial food scraps/compost bin. Please do not dispose of this pouch into landfill, it needs to be composted in order for it to break down sustainably. Printing
We use a locally owned small business to do all our printing. All materials are 100% recycled, paper based and printed using vegetable inks. From the very beginning our printing company set about finding ways to print with minimal impact on the environment. They are constantly seeking new ways to reduce our environmental footprint.Moisture Satchel
Because our products are made using 100% ground fruit, vegetable and medicinal herbs, we use moisture absorbing satchels to keep them fresh and free from solidifying. We have sourced plastic free satchels that are made from paper and clay. Free from micro plastics and silica. Our clay satchels are home compostable and toxiN free.
